We are looking for a CNC Lathe Operator with experience in reading technical blueprints, setting up the machine, monitoring the production process, and ensuring all products meet quality standards.

DUTIES: 

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes according to blueprints, engineering drawings, or work orders.
  • Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials.
  • Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
SKILLS: 

  • Experience with specific controls (Fanuc).
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to adapt to constant changes throughout the day.
EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE: 

  • Full Time: 40 hours/week plus overtime as needed.
