RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Precise layup of aircraft and satellite communications composite parts.
  • Aid in the kitting and finishing of composite parts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine processes and optimize efficiency. 
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, whilst working in a fast-paced environment. 
  • In process inspection, and documentation of composite parts.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and follow manufacturing work instructions.
  • Composite assembly.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a U.S. person. 
  • Willing to commute or relocate.
  • 2+ years composite lamination experience, preferably in aerospace.
  • Competent with hand tools associated with the kitting, layup, and finishing of composite parts.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment toward continuous improvement.
  • Succeeds at working in a team and working independently. 
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS: 

  • Experience trimming, drilling, and painting composite parts.
  • Aircraft structural assembly experience.
  • Experience working in an aircraft production environment.
  • Dimensional inspection experience utilizing calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauge pins.
  • Training less experienced technicians.

EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE:

  • Full Time On Site: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm
  • Overtime Pay
